Our stay was memorable thanks to the comfortable pet-friendly environment and access to a relaxing bathtub, which was a significant relief for us after a long drive.

The check-in process was smooth, and the

service provided by Chauncey at the front desk was exceptional. He made us feel welcome and valued. However, the breakfast offerings could use more variety, as we found ourselves missing some options during our stay.

An underwhelming welcome experience

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortably accommodated our needs. The breakfast options were fair, giving us enough energy for the day ahead.

However, the check-in staff didn’t greet us and seemed disinterested. The barking dogs above us also disrupted our peace, especially early in the morning.

Unfortunately, there were several issues that significantly impacted comfort. The hot tub and pool were both inoperative during my stay, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, the exterior grounds appeared unfriendly, filled with bags of mulch and a general sense of neglect. Access and security felt compromised, as outside doors that were supposed to be locked were frequently left open. There were also frustrations with the room key—multiple attempts were needed to get in. On a more minor note, the restroom lacked a proper toilet lid, which felt unprofessional, and only basic toiletries were provided. Overall, these factors created a less than satisfactory experience.

The room was clean and spacious. It was pet-friendly! The pool looked amazing, but we couldn't use it.

great central base for parks and local eats

The hotel offers a great location, just a short stroll from dolese youth park, where I enjoyed a peaceful morning walk, and there are plenty of dining options nearby like lakeside boiling seafood & bar, making it easy to have a meal after a day of exploring. as a single traveler, I appreciated the dog-friendly park area behind the hotel, perfect for relaxing after my city strolls, but the exterior cleanliness could use some improvement.

The room was inviting and offered ample space for relaxation. I appreciated the pet-friendly atmosphere. it made traveling with my dog stress-free. The accessibility features, including grab bars in the bathtub, were thoughtfully implemented, ensuring comfort and safety during my stay. Many guests expressed satisfaction with the cleanliness, which truly added to my experience.

The staff seemed overwhelmed during check-in, leading to a longer wait time than expected.

I really enjoyed the warm continental breakfast and the lovely landscaping around the pool. The comfortable room felt inviting, although I did notice the pool area looked different from online photos. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with our kids. The pool was a highlight, and we enjoyed our time exploring the city during the day, including taking in a local concert. The staff was accommodating when we added a second room last minute.

In my wife's opinion, the breakfast service could use improvement. It felt rushed, with some items being cleaned up prematurely. For families, it would be great to have breakfast items fully stocked until the end of the serving time.
